Our Mission

NEVADA AADAPTS is committed to improving the quality and quantity of services by impacting public policy regarding addiction issues and by advancing professionalism in the field.

Nevada AADAPTS recently created a training program for individuals interested in the substance abuse counseling field. The training is designed to prepare and employ qualified individuals as Licensed Counselors, Certified Counselors and Certified Interns for the Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors.

The training fee is paid by WIA Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker Service Providers. This includes all fees to become an Intern, including CASAT training fees. Additionally the cost covers all fees to become a Certified/Licensed Counselor.
